Science shows that 17 mixed species trees, growing as part of a biodiverse native forest, will not only absorb a car's annual greenhouse emissions, but will also help to tackle salinity, improve water quality and provide essential habitat for native species.

 

Under the initiative, which acknowledges that transport is Australia’s fastest growing source of greenhouse gas emissions,the  more trees that are planted each year will help to offset the impact of vehicles sold.
